The Foundation reached another milestone, with two donors surpassing the $20,000 giving level. Inaugural members who achieved 20K Club

“During our recent Foundation planning retreat, we agreed to raise the bar and recognize donors who achieve the 20K Club giving level. We also discussed a variety of other inspiring strategies that will enhance our giving programs and add value for our donors at all levels,” said ACAAI Foundation President Nathan Segall, MD, FACAAI. “Stay tuned as these new programs roll out in the coming months.”

Recognized for achieving 10K Club status are Bryan L. Martin, DO, FACAAI, Powell, Ohio, and Don Q. Mitchell, MD, FACAAI, Jackson, Miss. Jeffrey B. Raub, MD, FACAAI, is recognized for achieving 5K Club status.

Donors of all levels can reach their goal by contributing in a variety of ways including case donations, contributions of stock and charitable trusts/bequests. In times of bereavement, we hope you will consider requesting donations be made in lieu of flowers to help advance the care of allergy and immunology. The Jean Chapman Endowment Fund for Education was established to help support fellows-in-training travel grants.

The Tithe-a-Talk program makes it easy for you to donate honoraria from an upcoming speaking engagement, which will be applied toward your contribution goal. “The Foundation provides an opportunity for us to give to the present and future of our specialty. Funding grants to young investigators demonstrates our commitment to improving patient outcomes. Our fellowship stipends assist university programs struggling to continue on their insufficient income stream,” Dr. Segall said.

Previously, 19 individuals and four corporate donors have been recognized for achieving 10K Club status for contributing $10,000 or more; 56 individuals and two corporate donors have achieved 5K Club status for contributing $5,000 or more.
